Services and Programs
TOMAGWA HealthCare Ministries is a full-time, comprehensive family practice center serving low-resource, uninsured families, and individuals offering access to early intervention for potentially fatal conditions and proper care for chronic illness and other non-emergency care.
We provide preventive compassionate care in a Christian environment regardless of a person’s age, gender, ethnicity, race, religious affiliation, or ability to pay. TOMAGWA’s clinics are unique because we treat the whole person - physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

The lab can return results for patients in 10-20 minutes. For additional lab services not done onsite, TOMAGWA has a partnership with Houston Methodist, and patients can receive results within a week.

Services: Labs run onsite with results in 10-20 minutes or sent to Houston Methodist with results within a week
Super Hero Smile Day
A child's oral health should not be put at risk due to economic, temporal, cultural, or geographical barriers. In order to minimize these barriers, the Dental Clinic has developed a mobile dental clinic program.
The mobile dental clinic serves the most economically disadvantaged elementary schools, in the area, with support from school administration. Children can expect to receive dental services including: an oral examination, a fluoride varnish application, and oral hygiene education as well as an oral health goody bag. A report card is sent home to the parents and TOMAGWA returns to the school in six months for follow up treatments.
The Super Hero Smile Day dental program at TOMAGWA is designed to continue to promote oral health and prevent cavities in under-served children in its service area. The program targets the problem of preventable tooth decay in young children and fosters a dental home for reliable oral health care.
